Editor-in-Chief, Tobin Blair

Tobin Blair (He/They) is a senior double majoring in history and sustainability. More than anything, they love thinking, and therefore they enjoy board games, books, deep conversations, and analyzing everything. Literarily, Tobin enjoys writing fiction, satire, and occasional nonsensical poems. This is Tobin’s fourth year in Mistake House, and second year as Editor–in–Chief. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soap Bubble Set Editor, Sophia Green

Sophia Green (She/Her) is a Junior majoring in both Business Administration and Creative Writing. She is always looking to get lost in any of the fantasy worlds written by Sarah J. Maas. Besides reading, she enjoys coffee, running, baking, and horseback riding. This is her second year on Mistake House staff, and she is looking forward to reading submissions, copy editing, and working closely with professional writers and artists as the SBS editor for Issue 11. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fiction / Poetry Editor, Acadia Vance

Acadia Vance (She/Her) is a Junior majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. As a passionate reader, she especially loves fantasy and romance. Other than reading, Acadia enjoys writing, drawing, painting, and going on hikes. This is her first year with Mistake House, and she looks forward to copy-editing and collaborating with writers who have submitted fiction and poetry. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Online Editor, Jackie Reyes

Jackie Reyes (She/Her) is a Junior in Business Administration and Marketing, with a minor in Art History. She is always looking for opportunities to learn more about the complex and creative world of marketing. Besides marketing, she enjoys weightlifting, coffee, baking, reading, watching movies, and playing soccer. This is her first year on Mistake House staff and she is excited to support the literary community as the Online editor for Issue 11

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Photography Editor, Pius Sempumbu

Pius Sempumbu is a Senior majoring in Mass Communication with a minor in Sociology and Anthropology. As a visual arts lover, he’s interested in and has practiced different mediums of art such as drawing, painting, graphic design and photography. Pius is also an athlete and is part of the Track and Field team specializing in long jump and short sprints. This is Pius’ first year on Mistake House staff and he will be working with student photographers featured in the magazine.

Sky O’Brien teaches in the English Department at Principia College and is deputy editor of Dispatches Magazine, based in Berkeley, California.
