Phoebe Bugay is a student of Spanish and philosophy at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was in the top five finalists in the 2016 Shann Palmer Poetry Contest hosted by the James River Writers and Richmond Magazine, and her creative writing continues to be published in UVA’s literary publication The Declaration. Her paintings and drawings have been included in exhibitions in Charlottesville during First Friday events.
