Matty Palamara is a visual artist and photographer currently enrolled as a 2nd year MFA candidate at Iowa State University. Matty is explicitly focused on photography and understanding the relationship between the lens and people’s identity, with their work centering around the idea of performance and queer identity through the development of social media and today’s 24-hour cycle of communication among peers.
