Kevin Robles is a first-generation Mexican American undergraduate at University of Southern California majoring in pharmacology and minoring in narrative structure. He wrote this piece inspired by the trash left behind from previous campers at a creative writing retreat at Inyo National Forest. His work has appeared in Dark Moon Rising Publications and is forthcoming in Beyond Thought Journal, The Albion Review, and The Blue Route. He is currently finishing a novel, and about to start applying for an MFA in Fiction.
