Rafael A. Ascencio García is from El Salvador and a double major in Political Science and Sustainability at Principia College. He started writing poetry for recreational purposes in 7th grade, after having studied poetry composition in a Spanish class. García is a winner of a literature contest for the “2023 International Week” at the Principia Upper School.
